Express Movers Hawaii

The Hawaiian Better Business Bureau should require this company to change their name to Express Thieves! The 2 clowns who showed up for the move pulled the usual tricks outlined in other reviews e.g. bubble wrapping and reboxing toilet paper and towels, etc. They charged double what I was quoted. I had to move out quickly to move back to California due to urgent medical needs and didn't have time to get another mover. After paying storage fees for a year and a half, I requested that they ship my smaller items to me. Darlisa (of Express Movers) was supposed to do an inventory of what was shippable and advised not to pay anymore until the inventory was done. Then she was not contactable for a month. When a phone call did get through to her she claimed she had a family emergency and hadn't done the inventory but would get right on it. Have not been able to reach Darlisa by phone since and its been 90 days. At this point I'm assuming they have parted out my belongings among themselves, including a $4,000 bed, $500 brand new convection/microwave, and a new 1,600 refrigerator, to name a few items. I would only recommend Express Movers to somebody I had a vendetta against.

Express movers are very unreliable, liars. So many excuses for not doing their job. Other review are right, they will give a quote but will change to a higher price it when actual movers talk to you. Scammers!

We were targeted by a fraudulent mortgage service. They got us in a loan modification and then stalled us with phony paperwork until they auctioned our home to themselves. They used Hawaii Express Movers to "evict " us. This moving company showed up with personal cars (we have photos) and proceeded to rummage through all our belongings. They broke furniture legs, smashed a band saw stand and went on to carefully wrap and box paper towels and *** things. They emptied desk drawers into boxes and even put a box of refrigerator items in storage to rot and cause mold in the storage unit. They found an heirloom diamond tennis bracelet that belonged to my husbands mother who passed away. They ate our food and even packed the microwave with burnt pizza of their doing (our food again). Don't use this company--they hire thieves.

They were eating our food and even microwaved frozen pizza and then packed the dirty microwave oven with the pizza piece stuck in it. They are lower than dirt and don't believe any of the good reviews because they probably had their own people place them. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!! NEVER USE THIEVES THAT RUN A BUSINESS BECAUSE THEIR FIRST BUSINESS IS THEFT OF YOUR BELONGINGS!

Marco helped a lot taking my reservation, with pricing, and ensuring the size of the truck and the time. We appreciate his service and patience with the calls and questions.

2 inexperienced older men showed up to move my daughters 10 by 10 storage container. They were scheduled to meet her at 9:30am but wanted to charge her from 8:00 am. (first bad sign) they took forever my poor 100 lb daughter had to help move things out of container to get things moving faster. They argued on how they should carry and load items right in front of her (inexperienced) and second bad sign it just continued to get worst. Complained but Marco the owner did not care $700.00 later. Stop get someone else. They suck.....Do not have any customer service knowledge. They do not deserve to be in business. Found them from a coupon in value pack. Do not give them your business. You'll be sorry you did.

When we called this company, and told them what we needed, we were quoted one price on the phone. When the crew arrived, they immediately pulled out the paper work and the price was three times more than what I had been quoted. I told the workers that it was not the price I have been quoted but opted to move forward with the job anyway and straighten it out later. I had a witness to the conversation who backs me up. The crew is great but the owner is dishonest. I checked around and found that many other people had had the same experience with this company.

A Review of EXPRESS MOVERS HAWAII Jean, July 10, 2012Thank you Marco and Express Movers Hawaii for a stress-free household move from Oahu to Maui in July 2012. Moving at any time of life is difficult but as a senior woman well along in years I especially appreciate that manager Marco understood that I wanted to work with a moving company that would handle my dishes, lamps, and cherished items with care. Packing and moving house is stressful enough that I did not want to have to be concerned about the security of my shipment and needed a company I could trust. Manager Marco initially came to the house to assess what needed to be moved on much shorter notice than usual for contracting a date and was able to meet the pick up date I asked for. From then he made all arrangements to the Maui destination. On moving day two very able and personable men (Boyan and Shaun) arrived on time and didn't waste a minute from then to the time they closed the door on the truck. They came well equipped with moving tools, were quick moving up and down the elevator and in arranging the truck for efficient unload at Young Bros. Their last chore was to tie down and secure all the goods in the shipping container for the barge to Maui. I received a call from Boyan at the exact minute they finished, giving me the time of job completion and assuring that all was secure, a comforting, good touch of service I did not expect. Note: It helped me get through moving day that both men were good representatives of their company and worked with good humour. From the onset Marco assured me the shipment would be handled to my satisfaction and no problems. That is exactly how it turned out. From both the Oahu and Maui employees the service was as fast and efficient as estimated. The shipment arrived intact exactly as picked up and no problems. And the cost was as we agreed and within my budget. Express Movers advertises as Fast, Friendly and Professional and they are.
